David is an emerging Melbourne artist whose styles range from fine art to comic illustration. He has been involved in painting for over 15 years and has studied botanical illustration since 2005. David has over 28 years experience in graphic art and works as a graphic designer.

Part of David's recent work featured in the eighth biennial Art of Botanical Illustration 2006 exhibition through the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. Along with eight other artists, David's Banksia integrifolia was selected for the Illustrated Garden Collection, or florilegium, of significant plants growing in the Royal Botanic Gardens. David recently exhibited successfully in the ninth biennial Art of Botanical Illustration 2008 exhibition through the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne. David is currently painting a selection of Australian native and exotic plants for commission and up and coming exhibitions.
